About Me
- Name: charel
- Location: Basel / Luxembourg, Switzerland
Born in the capital of Luxembourg, I grew up living in the old romantic part of the city known as 'De Fëschmaart' where I spent all of my childhood. I went through the catholic private school Sainte-Sophie which at that moment wasn't quite as terrifying as the imagination of such a school ruled and run by nuns might presume. After 6 years came the at that moment still existing exam and a welcome switch to the Lycee Michel Rodange, named after a famous Luxembourgish poet. There I was able to meet some people still important to me now and that hopefully will remain friends of mine for a long time to come. In parallel, I started judo and joined the scouts Les Aigles. Although judo was washed out of my memory over the years, the scouts are still one of the most important things in life, as I enjoy very much working with children as they are more natural, cheerful and eager to learn new things than most adults. I also met some of my best friends in the scouts. I then came to Basel to study molecular biology, enjoying one of my most important hobbies, namely photography.
