Reflections in the dark

Times are not always bright and clear, and contrast is commonly unsatisfactory. This can be due to your fore- or background, either way presents suboptimal conditions. I'm talking about reality here! Things you took for granted vanish in a sudden and abrupt implosion. How can life continue without the perception and feeling that there will be a next moment? Can we live without the notion of future? Probably yes as this can be a tamporarily self defense mechanism preventing us from being blinded by the inconceivable. To prevent our mind from imagining a life without legs we get the impression of a life without life. Pain helps easing the pain. Only time can tell...

Youth and Happiness

While working with children, I found that this is possibly the only way there is to get that feeling back that can only exist in the world of the youth. I prefer the noun youth or young people, because it is slightly more precise and accurate. I exists only for a short, innocent period of time, and afterwards, while beginning to realize what it ment, it is gone forever. No matter how hard we try to veil and mask this truth, we are doomed to fail. It is probably a godd thing that the world turns that way, nevertheless this dream persist since the dark ages. It's deamon shows itself in different forms, driving people to poison their skin cells or trying to end up in the annals of the world's evanescent history. Personally, I think that these are just lies for our own conciousness. I think that the only way of getting again a glimpse of what youth is all about is by working with them, teaching them, forgetting what was true and learning the very basics of life again through fragile crystal eyes. Its powerful rays don't seem to loose their ability to warm my heart, give me hope and energy to continue life as an ignoramus in the adult's world.
